Payments for transport to be made in advance by bank transfer or PayPal to the accounts on the booking email.
Confirmation of booking will not be sent until payment is received and cleared.
No cash payments will be taken at the points of collection or delivery.
No animal will be transported without full payment to the seller in advance.
Please ensure the animal is paid for well in advance of collection (at least 7 days, preferably). InteRep cannot make any payments for animals.
All payments to InteRep are solely for transport costs; all transactions between sender and receiver are separate and InteRep accepts no involvement in or liability for these.
The packer assumes responsibility that their choice of bag or container is properly ventilated, escape-proof and suitable for the requirements of the species.
No alternative packing materials are available at the time of collection or delivery.
Standard booking fee reserves the space inside an individual 6.5lt Really Useful Box (or 5lt lower, wider alternative if considered more appropriate) within the thermostore transport boxes.
Animals or containers exceeding 6.5lt RUB size (380mm Long x 143mm Wide x 120mm High) will travel in larger individual thermostatically-heated / ventilated carriers at a 50% additional charge.
Suitability and size of container or animal is at the discretion of the transporter judged in accordance with DEFRA regulations.
PLEASE BRING A SUITABLE CARRY BOX FOR COLLECTION (e.g. Polystyrene box or warm bag) - THESE ARE NOT SUPPLIED BY INTEREP UNLESS REQUESTED AND PAID FOR IN ADVANCE.
Our vehicle is designed to carry ANIMALS ONLY; with regret, we are not able to transport vivariums or pieces of equipment.
Once your payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent to you with a booking reference code and your email address will be added to a group contact for that particular run. Any updates, delays or meeting point details will be sent to you this way.
Communication during transit is difficult, so regrettably other channels of contact cannot be provided or answered. Too many varied means of communication prove confusing.
We may call the contact mobile numbers provided for sender / receiver in the event of emergency at our discretion.
Significant delay to arrival at meeting points will be conveyed at the earliest possible opportunity.

PLEASE NOTE THAT, DUE TO THE TIMETABLED NATURE OF OUR SERVICE, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO WAIT BEYOND THE ALLOTTED TIME WINDOW AT ANY GIVEN MEETING POINT.
IF YOU ARE LATE, WE WILL GO - AND NO COMPENSATION CAN BE OFFERED.
(For delays or missed collections, see Contingencies below.)
In the event that the arranged opportunity to collect an animal is missed by the receiver, the animals in question will either return to the InteRep boarding hotel facility or be returned to the sender, whichever is more practical for the animal's welfare.
A new collection opportunity can then be arranged for the receiver on the next run, subject to a further delivery charge.
In the event that any animal is boarded at the hotel facility in the intervening time, a discretionary charge of £5/day is payable in advance by the collecting party.
In the event that an animal is not collected at a second attempt or the above charges are not settled in advance of re-transport, the responsibility and ownership of the animals will be assumed by the transporter.
In the unlikely event that the transport run is curtailed by InteRep due events beyond the transporter's control (such as vehicle breakdown, dangerous weather etc), all livestock will be returned to our boarding hotel facility and maintained free of charge until a new delivery run can be arranged to take these animals to their recipients at no further cost.
Individual animals transported are insured to a maximum value of £200 per animal.
In the highly unlikely event of any injury or death occurring during the short transport process, the receiving party must inform the transporter at the point of collection. The animal must then be inspected within 24hrs by a veterinary surgeon to determine cause of illness or death and establish liability.
Once the receiver has signed for the animal(s) at the point of collection, all liability to the transporter is removed.
Original copies of any paperwork required for individual animals (e.g. CITES A10 certificates) must be provided to the transporter with the animal at the time of collection.
The sender assumes all responsibility for acquiring and providing any necessary documents for animals despatched. No paperwork, no transport.
ALL animals transported between the UK and Europe require paperwork stating their origin and the buyer and seller's contact details (DOWNLOAD & COMPLETE THE EURO FORM on our BOOKING page if in doubt).
The transporter accepts no liability for animals with or without correct paperwork seized by customs officials at international border points.
InteRep does not advocate the keeping of wild-caught animals and the transport of such is at our discretion. Please inform us at the time of booking if your animal(s) is of wild or unknown origin.
